Why size matters-BBC International documentary

As apart of the international below-the-line crew as continuity on set my duties included keeping track of which parts of the script have been shot on a daily basis and making notes of any deviations between what was actually filmed and what appeared in the script. As we worked with multiple VFX I took notes on Inclination and Heights as well as distance between props or person as per every shot. I kept track of props, blocking, and other details to ensure continuity between shots and scenes matched with the VFX.

I made sure that actors' movements, the directions they matched in a shot and the positions of props they were using matched from shot to shot. If there were any apparent mismatch, I informed the director immediately so that it can be reshot before the lighting setup has changed or before the location was wrapped. I meticulously took notes and was required to provide diplomacy to advise the director that they may have a problem editing something just recorded.

I kept track of scene numbers and take numbers to the first, second, third and fourth camera to assistant corrections for the slate, as well as to the sound mixer. I clearly noted which take the director has chosen to be used (as a "print," in film terms) in the finished product. All of this information is then gets relayed to the editor on the shoots wrapped in the form of copies made of both the script supervisor's notes as well as their matching script pages. I also took part in matching the Green screen VFX shots to the Green screen shoots in studio and insured movements matched the environment the footage was first shot on.
